Welcome to the Marinade Hub Donation Page
As much as we would have loved to simply redirect you to the donation payment page,
we would rather have you understand what we do, what we stand for and most
importantly what we do with your donations.
We believe that understanding the cause is equally as important as giving to the cause,
this helps to balance the reason for giving and the expectation…
So shall we begin?
Marinade Hub is an NGO created for the single purpose of helping families; men and women through their fertility journey by providing fertility treatment sponsorship, part or full financial support, unfettered access to updated knowledge on infertility and complete fertility counselling for husbands and wives with qualified fertility counsellors.
A safe haven where questions and concerns about infertility treatments, conception tips, and postnatal care of mother and child are addressed without contempt or prejudice.
The Marinade financial support comes in the form of test payments and infertility solution procedure payments.
Meet Lilian Nwamaka a healthcare provider and a beneficiary of the Hub
Do you know that in an African society, woman is mostly blamed and stigmatized for infertility cases even though the problem may be from the man?
The Marinade Hub story began in 2013 when the founder Sussan Ezinne Ini-Ituen sought fertility treatments;
She tried 6 procedures in 6 years.
All of which failed…
Even with the procedures’ pain and side effects, she kept trying different fertility treatment procedures every year for 6 years.
None of which was successful.
Different procedures for 6 years?
Yeah, you read that right…
The desire to mother-child (ren) was far greater than the pain and side effects that come with the procedures…
The joy of having a child is way greater than constipation, abdominal cramping, vomiting, pelvic infection or inflammation, ovulatory disorder, and swollen & painful ovaries.
She was relentless until finally, she had her first child…
Mrs Sussan experienced the disappointment, pain and emotional trauma that comes with failed infertility solution procedures first-hand.
She understands how dark, lonely and rough the journey can be.
She knows how it feels to have pregnancy expectations,
Like doing constant checks to see if you have finally missed your periods… only to be disappointed when you see your period.
The depressive feeling that comes from looking out for pregnancy symptoms that never came,
The financial sacrifice is another huge sacrifice most couples make to raise money for treatment procedures.
Which do not come cheap.
These experiences prompted the founder to create a marinade environment where couples can express their infertility problems, and get help and assistance on their journey to explore solutions.
In 2019, the first awareness campaign began. The success of the campaign necessitated a hub where couples can seek help, access fertility resources and ask qualified healthcare practitioners and qualified fertility counsellors questions.
Since then, we have been running a donation campaign,
The donations allow us to provide financial support to members.
Here is what we have done with the donations received previously…
Between 2019 and 2023 we have executed 4 projects, all of which helped a lot of couples have their babies, undergo fertility tests and raise money for fertility treatment procedures.
Project 1: The Marinade Hub Fertility Grant Project Phase 1.
The maiden project Marinade Hub Fertility Grant Project Phase 1 began in December 2021 and ended in January 2022.
11 families got to the final stage of the selection process and these families were given grants to undergo IVF procedures, fertility treatment, IUI procedures, etc.
The grant was able to get some beneficiaries subsidized fertility treatment while others were paid for in full.
Project Report: Out of the 11 families, one family has positive news. The rest are still seeking funds to go for their next procedures.
Here is verifiable proof👇
Project 2: Pregnancy Challenge Project Feb 2022 season 1
It was initiated to get expecting members ready mentally and emotionally ready to have babies.
The task was to record themselves dressed like pregnant women, dance and send in videos.
Project report: Over 50 entries were received and astonishing news of positive pregnancy test results was received from the participants within a year of the challenge.
Project 3: Mother's Day Challenge March 2022
Very similar to the Pregnancy Challenge, this is another innovative project done on Mother’s Day March 2022 to get expecting mothers ready psychologically for their babies.
Task: Participants were asked to shoot a video where they are in labour and packing their hospital bags.
Project Report: The winners were awarded pampering sessions. And the good news is that one of the winners today is a parent with twins
Now that we have been transparent about what we have been doing with donations, Here is the project we are running this year
The Marinade Hub Fertility Foundation Grant Project Phase 2
As a registered Foundation our primary aim is to help members who need financial support raise part or full payment for their fertility treatment procedure.
Below are vetted and genuine members who need financial support to raise money for infertility treatment procedures:
Your support can imprint an unforgettable memory in their mind
Your financial support will put joy in these families’ hearts.
Your noble cause will help these families hold their babies, children carrying their DNA.
And this joyful memory rarely dies…
With your support, the Founder along with the Marinade Volunteer Team are working hard towards creating stories like Mrs Lilian Andrew Nkiruka who has benefited from the Marinade Hub grant in Nigeria and Africa.
Let’s face it, many people do not give to Nigerian NGOs due to the many cases of fraud,
Some bad eggs divert the donations to their own business and use a large chunk of it to solve their personal problems.
But here’s what we will do.
We will walk you over what we will do with your donations,
This way you can hold us accountable.
After all, transparency is key, right?
When the first campaign was launched in 2019 the idea was to create a private support Facebook group where all-round support is provided to the members’ emotional needs.
Sooner than later we realized the members needed financial support.
We ran a research and the report revealed that many members are low-income earners who are struggling to pay for their fertility treatments.
It was humbling to know that some people have exhausted their life savings on one failed treatment of recurrent medications.
As a hub, we have decided to take up the burden of fundraising for the group, from just
a group we became a foundation with the legal backing to raise funds and solve social
problems.
Do you have friends that like to support our cause?
You and your friends can donate as a group…
The Marinade Hub Fertility Foundation Grant Project Phase 2 Plan
You can make it an unforgettable memory for these families
As established on this page the donations are spent on real people who are looking to explore fertility treatment procedures either as full payment or part payment. They are all verifiable and real, we have done our due diligence on them.
We invite you to join us as we create more beautiful stories like Courage Ikhiede
Support us by making a donation through a bank transfer to one of Marinade Hub's official bank accounts.
