When Service Becomes a Journey of Hope: Members Share Their Marinade Hub Experience

At Marinade Hub Fertility Foundation, we believe that support goes beyond words.

It is about showing up.
It is about listening.
It is about sharing reliable information.
It is about encouraging someone who feels like giving up.
And sometimes, it is simply about reminding someone that they are not alone.

As we celebrate another milestone in our journey, we are reminded that the impact of a community is best understood through the experiences of the people who are part of it.

Recently, two members of the Marinade Hub community, IbukunOluwa C Ogunleye and Denis Mercy Tochukwu, shared heartfelt reflections about their experiences with the Foundation.

Five Years of Service, Compassion and Hope

For IbukunOluwa, five years of volunteering with Marinade Hub have been about much more than volunteering.

She describes her journey as one filled with service, compassion, learning, prayers, sisterhood and hope.

Over the years, she has witnessed couples come into the community feeling tired, discouraged and broken, only to gradually find encouragement, support and renewed hope.

She has seen members receive support for fertility investigations and treatments, and has celebrated beautiful pregnancy and childbirth testimonies along the way.

One important lesson her experience has taught her is that hope is powerful.

Sometimes, making an impact does not require doing something extraordinary. It can be as simple as listening to someone, praying with them, sharing useful information, offering encouragement or helping someone take one more step towards their dream.

Her message to couples still waiting is simple and powerful:

Don’t give up hope. Your journey may be different, but your story is not over.

A Community Worth Staying For

For Denis Mercy Tochukwu, being part of Marinade Hub has brought immense joy.

As a member since 2019 and a volunteer within the Hub, she says seeing both members and non-members receive help and experience positive change has made her appreciate the community even more.

Her message is a reminder that every act of support matters.

Whether it is helping someone access information, encouraging someone through a difficult moment or simply putting a smile on someone’s face, each contribution can make a difference in someone’s fertility journey.

The Power of Community

The stories of IbukunOluwa and Denis highlight something at the heart of Marinade Hub Fertility Foundation: no one should have to navigate the fertility journey alone.

Behind every statistic is a person.
Behind every fertility journey is a story.
And behind every testimony are people who offered support along the way.

Volunteers, members, supporters, healthcare professionals, donors, advocates and everyone who contributes to the work all play a role in creating a community where people can find information, compassion and hope.
